It is easy to pack away and takes very little room. There is nothing better than knowing you have anything you may need to enjoy a great meal while outdoors.
#9: LifeStraw, Personal Water Filter
We have gotten to our personal favourite and the reason for this list. It is crazy how much things have changed when it comes to camping gear. This little guy is perhaps one of the greatest improvements from traditional ways of making water potable. It’s award-winning technology filters up to 1,000 gallons (4,000 liters) of contaminated water without iodine, chlorine, or other chemicals. Moreover, since it doesn’t require batteries and has no moving parts it is incredibly simple to operate. It easily removes a minimum of 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria, 99.9% of waterborne protozoan parasites, and filters to 0.2 microns which surpasses EPA filter standards. Made of BPA Free materials it is the perfect alternative to iodine tablets and bulky purifiers. The best part? It only weighs 2oz so you know you can make any water source from an impressive lake to a flowing river a clean water source without adding extra clutter to your bag!
#10: Portable Bluetooth Speaker
There is nothing more enjoyable than playing some music while fishing, grilling, or just making some S’mores. Although we recommend keeping the volume down to not disturb animals or humans in the area; in moderation you can bring music to your adventure! What better way to do so than any of these 2 portable speakers. We had to add the Ortizan speaker which is not only a super reliable model but is also currently on a 27% discount (As of June 2nd, 2022). They are both IPX7 certified so you can rest easy knowing water won’t stop these babies! They have amazing sound quality and a great battery life of over 24 hours for the Anker speaker and 30 hours for the Ortizan speaker. You can play music for days and once it is out of juice, just use your solar powered battery bank to recharge your speaker and keep the party going.
